I have started this blog to share some thoughts and ideas about music education. I teach piano and theory at home and at a private studio. I love working with kids and I enjoy teaching, especially when the students practice.
I have uploaded a photo of a book that I share with students and parents. The book is fun and written as a cartoon, but the message is really strong. “If we practice without making errors, we train the brain to perform without error.” My experience is if kids practice well, they can practice less and have more fun.
Do you think this method works for other subject areas?
